Pediatric feeding therapy in Katy, Brookshire, and Cypress is available through Thrive Speech Therapy's Brookshire and Cypress–Towne Lake clinics. These are our only feeding therapy locations. Families in west Katy can visit Brookshire; our North Mason Road Katy clinic and Fry Road Cypress clinic do not offer feeding therapy.
Support for mealtime concerns
Feeding therapy at Thrive supports children with picky eating, sensory needs, and oral-motor challenges. Our therapists work with families who have concerns about chewing, swallowing, eating, or drinking. Care begins with an individual assessment so recommendations reflect your child's needs.
Sessions may use play and food exploration to help your child become more comfortable with mealtime activities. Your therapist may address feeding skills and incorporate sensory-friendly strategies. We work at your child's pace and share practical tools for your family to use at home.
What to expect from an evaluation
When you contact us, tell the team what you are noticing at meals and which feeding clinic is most convenient. We can help arrange an appropriate evaluation and explain the intake paperwork. Your therapist will discuss your concerns, assess feeding needs, and explain the findings and recommendations.
Speech-language and feeding concerns are considered individually. At Brookshire and Towne Lake, these needs may be assessed separately or together when appropriate. If treatment is recommended, the plan is tailored to your child rather than following the same steps for every family.
Our two feeding clinics
Brookshire is at 403 Olympic Ln, Brookshire, TX 77423. This clinic serves Brookshire, Pattison, west Katy, and nearby communities, with pediatric speech-language and feeding services.
Cypress–Towne Lake is at 10242 Greenhouse Rd, Suite 601, Cypress, TX 77433. This clinic serves Towne Lake, Cypress, and nearby west Houston communities.
Thrive serves children from 18 months through 16 years. Medicaid is accepted only at Memorial, Atascocita, and Fry Road Cypress; those clinics do not provide feeding therapy. Please call us to discuss insurance and payment options for feeding care. For other plans outside our in-network list, self-pay applies and a superbill is available on request.

Therapy usually begins one to two weeks after an evaluation when recommended. Your therapist will discuss a plan based on your child's needs. We do not offer in-home therapy.
